No Shave November (Movember) is upon us!!!!!!!! Men, this is your month! Join the movement for men’s health issues and choose to put the razor down from 11/1-11/30!
The Concept: The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.
Get Involved: Participate by growing a beard or cultivating a mustache. If you’re not ready to get hairy, sit back and support someone who is.
The Rules: They are simple! Put down your razor for 30 days and donate your monthly hair maintenance expenses to the cause. Strict dress code at work? Don’t worry about it. Participation of any kind is encouraged! Root for your friends and be LOUD about men’s health.
The five most common cancers among American men are prostate, lung, colorectal, bladder, and melanoma, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Let’s raise awareness about this and let cancer know that we think it SUCKS. Come by the office and show us your grizzly faces, and we’d love to snap a photo for our social media.
